Marble & Travertine Polishing

Volusia, Orange, Seminole, and Flagler Counties

Commercial & Residential

Often homeowners and businesses think their marble and travertine floors only need to be polished, but due to the accumulation of minor scratches, they may need to be honed and polished for best results. Honing is the process of restoring your marble and travertine floors by using a series of diamond grit polishing pads. We can continue this process until we attain a matt or gloss finishing depending on your needs. We can polish the floors with a special finishing polishing pad for a high gloss finish.

There are two types of travertine floors, filled and unfilled.   Filled travertine has been smoothed out by synthetically filling in holes. If you have unfilled travertine with holes that need repair, we can take care of that.

When it comes to marble and travertine floor polishing, honing, cleaning, and sealing, we strive to educate our customers so they can save time and money from a costly restoration project down the road. We highly recommend having the floors sealed after they have been polished. The sealer does not alter the floor's gloss and gives it protection against staining. We use a premium solvent-based stone sealer that lasts two years.
