Why Polish Granite Countertops?
Polishing travertine increases its appearance, durability, and cleanliness. A polished surface has a higher density and therefore is stronger against falling objects. Polishing also increases stain resistance and makes cleaning easier.
What is Diamond Grante Polishing?
Diamond Polishing is a process that uses diamond abrasives to restore the finish of travertine. The diamonds, like sandpaper, come in a variety of grits. The lower grit diamonds remove the deeper scratching. The higher grits of diamonds remove light etching and increase the gloss.
The 7-Step Polishing System for high gloss uses diamonds in resins and a powder polish at the end. This system will result in a more mirror-like finish for the travertine floor.
Matt, semi-gloss, gloss, and high gloss finish options are available. We also seal travertine to protect it from staining and prolong the life of the shine.
